Richard P.

Richard P. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Richard started their career as an Assistant Land & Building Surveyor at SHAW COLEGATE LIMITED in 2003 and worked their way up to become a Senior Land & Building Surveyor. In this role, their responsibilities included land and measured building surveying, site engineering, and sub surface utility surveys for various clients. After leaving SHAW COLEGATE LIMITED in 2012, Richard joined Barrett Corp & Harrington Ltd as a Property Valuer/Surveyor, where they specialized in rebuild valuations, building condition assessments, and security assessments for high-value residential and commercial properties.

In 2015, Richard joined AtkinsRéalis as an Assistant Building Surveyor / Project Manager, and later worked as a Building Surveyor. Richard'sduties at AtkinsRéalis included project management and building surveying for a range of projects in education and corporate property. Richard conducted feasibility studies, wrote specifications, administered contracts, and created design drawings using autocad and sketch up. Richard also liaised with design teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.

Richard then joined Bracknell Forest Council in 2018 and held various roles, including Head of Property Maintenance, Head of Maintenance and Facilities, and Head of Capital Projects and Maintenance. In these positions, they oversaw capital projects, maintenance activities, and property maintenance for the council.

In 2021, Richard returned to AtkinsRéalis as an Associate Building Surveyor before being promoted to Lead Facility Assessor in July 2023. Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated expertise in surveying, project management, contract administration, and client liaison.

Richard P. completed their education as follows:

- From 2011 to 2014, they attended Kingston University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Building Surveying.

- Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they studied at the University of Westminster and received a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Construction and Surveying.

- From 2000 to 2002, they attended Chichester College and earned an Advanced GNVQ in Construction & The Built Environment and a National Certificate in Land Surveying & Cartography.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Richard P. has obtained several certifications:

- Richard became a member of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and received the MRICS qualification in 2021.

- In 2018, they obtained the NEC3 ECC Supervisor certification from NEC Contracts™.

- In 2017, they obtained the Project Management Qualification (PMQ) from the Association for Project Management.
