Heather Clarson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Heather started their career as a Corporate Banking Analyst at Corestates Financial Corp and worked there from 1993 to 1996. Heather then joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1998 as a Brand Manager for Minute Maid Juices and worked until 2000. Following this, they worked at Viant Consulting as a Sr. Strategy Consultant from 2000 to 2001, where they developed enterprise-wide digital strategies for Fortune 500 companies. Heather then returned to The Coca-Cola Company and held various roles, including Sr. Brand Operations Manager, Director of Business Planning & Analysis, Group Director for Category Revenue Growth Management, Group Director for Demand & Performance Management, and Group Director for Commercial Excellence, until 2018. Most recently, in 2018, they became the Chief Development Officer at Atlanta Mission.

Heather Clarson completed their education at three institutions. From 1981 to 1989, they attended Nichols School, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Heather then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General from Dickinson College, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Heather continued their education at Emory University - Goizueta Business School, pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, which they obtained between 1996 and 1998.
