Erica Long is an experienced educational leader and legal professional currently serving as Chief of Student Experience and previously as Deputy Superintendent at Atlanta Public Schools since October 2015. Long's career includes roles as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor for Policy & Government Affairs, where responsibilities included acting as a liaison between the Superintendent and Board of Education, and advocating for the district's interests before various legislative bodies. Prior to Atlanta Public Schools, Long worked as a Policy Advisor for the Georgia Department of Education, President of Long Strategies Group, and Director of Government Affairs at AIG.
