Jessica Smith, Ed.D, currently serves as a Program Manager for The School District of Philadelphia, where responsibilities include conducting interviews, onboarding new team members, and presenting program strategies to executive leadership. Jessica is also the creator and developer of the Kid Forward Mobile Application, which aims to improve literacy among K-12 students. As an adjunct faculty member at Atlantic Cape Community College and Camden County College, Jessica prepares course materials and provides academic guidance to diverse student populations. Jessica's previous experience includes roles as CEO and founder of Queen J Reads, where Jessica hosts a literacy podcast and authors a book series, as well as marketing and education positions at institutions like KIPP New Jersey and Rutgers University. Jessica holds a Doctorate of Education in Transformational Leadership from Concordia University-St. Paul and an MBA in International Business from American InterContinental University.
