John R. Deni

John R. Deni, PhD, serves as a Research Professor of JIIM Security Studies at the Strategic Studies Institute and US Army War College Press since November 2011, where responsibilities include leading multinational research teams and analyzing various security topics, particularly in Europe and Eurasia. Deni also holds positions as a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council and as an Adjunct Professor at American University, teaching graduate courses on international service. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the University of Heidelberg, Political and Legislative Affairs Advisor for the US Army, and Project Manager at DynMeridian, where Deni focused on international security and policy support. Deni's educational background includes a PhD in International Affairs from The George Washington University, an MA in U.S. Foreign Policy from American University, and a BA in History and International Relations from William & Mary.
