Kadiatou Cesaire

VP, Global Human Resources & Talent Development at ATLANTIC COUNCIL OF THE UNITED STATES

Kadiatou Cesaire serves as vice president, global human resources and talent development at the Atlantic Council, responsible for directing all aspects of the Atlantic Council’s talent strategy and human resource operations, ensuring HR is aligned with the Council’s culture and strategic plan.

With over 15 years of human resource experience in both the public and private sector, Kadiatou Cesaire comes to the Atlantic Council with extensive experience in talent management and employee engagement. Prior to the Council, she served as the Regional Human Resource Business Partner for the Inter-America and Pacific Region with the U.S. Peace Corps. Throughout her career, she has championed staffing and development for leading organizations, providing strategic HR programmatic support and consultation for organizational growth and enhancements to nonprofits, federal contractors, and leading industry companies.

Before Peace Corps, Kadiatou’s professional portfolio spanned organizations such as L-3 Communications, Lockheed Martin, and NASA. Her responsibilities ranged from supporting all levels of DoD workforce planning to ensuring federal compliance regulations were met relative to federal contracting guidelines. Kadiatou, a New York native raised in South Florida, transplanted to Washington, D.C, in 2013, where she is proud to call home. She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Human Resource Management, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
