Benjamin van Boxtel

Benjamin van Boxtel, MD, serves as the Surgical Director of the Atlantic Aortic Center and an Attending Physician at Atlantic Health System since July 2019. In addition to this role, Benjamin has been a Major in the Medical Corps of the United States Army Reserve since January 2014. Previous experience includes residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery and General Surgery at NYPH / Columbia University Medical Center from June 2011 to July 2019, and an internship/residency at NYPH / Columbia & Cornell from June 2010 to June 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health (2006-2010) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2003-2006).
