William Rafelson

William Rafelson, MD, MBA, FACP currently serves as the Medical Director for Genitourinary Oncology and an Attending Physician in Hematology-Oncology at Atlantic Health System since October 2023. Previously, William held positions at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as an Assistant Attending in the Solid Tumor Genitourinary Oncology Service and at Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University as an Assistant Professor of Medicine from July 2020 to October 2023. William's earlier training includes a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology, a T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship in Hematology, and an Internal Medicine Residency at Brown University from July 2013 to June 2020. Additionally, William co-directed a free clinic for underserved populations while at Cooper University Health Care from June 2011 to May 2013. William's educational background includes an MD from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and an MBA from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Academic achievements also include a Diploma in Pre-Medical Sciences from Harvard Extension School and a BA in English from Brandeis University.
