Calum McWhir

Calum McWhir has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Calum started their career as a Consultant at Thistle Initiatives Group from September 2014 to December 2017. Calum then worked as a Compliance Officer (CF10 & MLRO) at Freetrade from January 2018 to December 2018. In 2019, they held positions as a Risk & Compliance Manager at Octopus Wealth from January 2019 to August 2019, and as a Compliance Manager at Robinhood from September 2019 to October 2020. In 2020, they served as the Head of Compliance (SMF16/17) at Nude from October 2020 to April 2021. Currently, Calum McWhir is working at Atlantic Money, where they hold the role of Chief Compliance Officer (UK) since May 2021. Additionally, starting from October 2022, they took on the position of Chief Operating Officer at Atlantic Money.

Calum McWhir completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the University of Glasgow from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications in the field of investment. Calum obtained the Investment Management Certificate (Level 4) from CFA UK in September 2015. Calum also earned the Investment Compliance Diploma (Level 6) from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in February 2016. Calum'smost recent certification, the Investment Advice Diploma (Level 4), was obtained from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in April 2019.
