Doug Woolley

Since 2004, he has been honored to serve Atlantic Union Bank in senior credit capacities, currently as Chief Credit Officer since 2016, throughout many acquisitions and branding changes. He's driven in his career to provide a strong, innovative and nimble risk management environment that supports profitable loan growth. My team’s ultimate and continuing satisfaction comes in collaborating with their bankers to create the winning solution for the customer and for the Bank.

He has over 40 years of banking experience, beginning my career with The First National Bank of Atlanta, after graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Commerce with a Concentration in Finance. Prior to joining Atlantic Union Bank, formerly Union Bank and Trust, he worked for First Union National Bank in North Carolina and Virginia, serving in a variety of management roles including Line, Credit, Portfolio Management and Special Assets.

Outside of work, he enjoy traveling, cooking and savoring a glass of fine bourbon.
