John C. Asbury

CEO at Atlantic Union Bank

John Asbury's work experience begins in 1987 when they worked as a Banking Officer at Wachovia. From there, they held various senior leadership positions at Bank of America, including Pacific Northwest Region Executive and Quality & Productivity Executive. In 2000, they became the Chief Administrative Officer of Commercial Finance at Bank of America. Asbury then joined Regions Financial Corporation in 2008, where they served as the Senior Executive Vice President and Business Services Group Head. In 2014, they formed their own LLC, John C. Asbury, LLC, where they engaged in consulting and adjunct faculty work. In 2015, Asbury became the President and CEO of First National Santa Fe before transitioning to Atlantic Union Bank in 2016, where they currently hold the position of CEO.

John Asbury completed their education in a chronological order. In 1987, they graduated from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business, achieving Summa Cum Laude honors. John'sfocus of study during this period was Finance and Management.

Afterward, in 1998, they attended William & Mary's Raymond A. Mason School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree. John participated in the Executive MBA Program provided by the university.
