Miriam Wood

Miriam Wood has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of psychology. Miriam has worked as a Consultant Psychologist at their own practice, www.miriamwoodpsychology.com since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Health Psychology Specialist at Atlantis Health starting from October 2021. Miriam also worked as an Honorary Academic in the Department of Psychological Medicine at The University of Auckland from February 2018. Miriam was a Consultant Psychologist at Waikato District Health Board from October 2019 until July 2021. Miriam's early career includes a role as a Consultant Psychologist at Counties Manukau Health, where they worked from an unspecified year until July 2019.

From 1999 to 2001, Miriam Wood attended the University of Canterbury, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Psychology.

Between 2002 and 2004, they pursued a Master of Science (Hons) degree in Health Psychology from The University of Auckland.

In 2010, Miriam Wood enrolled at The University of Auckland again, this time completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Psychology with a focus on Clinical Health Psychology in 2011.
