Carlos Garcia Algora

Carlos Garcia Algora is a Technology Engineer at Atlas Copco since September 2024, previously serving as Principal SatCom System Support Engineer and in various roles at ST Engineering iDirect from September 2019 to September 2024. Prior experience includes work as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Universidad Central "Marta Abreu"​ de Las Villas from September 2011 to July 2019, alongside a PhD candidacy at Vrije Universiteit Brussel focused on MAC protocols for Low Power and Lossy Networks. Carlos holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Telecommunications Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (2014-2018), a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Central "Marta Abreu"​ de Las Villas (2012-2014), and a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the same institution (2006-2011).
