Dr. Marian Wenking

Dr. Marian Wenking has a diverse work experience, primarily in operations and management roles. Dr. Marian started their career as a Research Associate at the Universität St.Gallen, where they worked from July 2014 to December 2015. From January 2016 to March 2018, they served as the Group Coordinator for Global Production at the Institute of Technology Management. In April 2018, Dr. Wenking joined MANN+HUMMEL as the Director of Global Manufacturing Strategy, a position they held until March 2020. Dr. Marian then took on the role of Director of Digitalization Operations from April 2020 to April 2021. From May 2021 to June 2022, they served as the Managing Director & Plant Manager at the Himmelkron plant. Following this, they became the Vice President of Operations for Air Filtration Europe at MANN+HUMMEL from June 2022 to June 2023. Their most recent position is as the Vice President of Operations for the Scientific Vacuum Division at Atlas Copco, a role they have held since July 2023.

Dr. Marian Wenking holds a PhD in Production and Technology Management from the University of St.Gallen. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University. Dr. Wenking also holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, both from RWTH Aachen University.
