Steven van Riel

Steven Van Riel is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in information systems and IT management, currently serving as Vice President IS/IT at Atlas Copco since September 2007. In this role, Steven drives strategic technology evolution within the industrial technique business area to support growth targets. Prior positions include Distribution Center IT Program Manager, where Steven successfully developed and implemented a greenfield SAP template across global distribution centers in the USA and China, and IT Manager, overseeing overall IT infrastructure and an SAP team. Previous experience includes roles as an SAP Functional Analyst in Sales & Logistics and Project Engineer, as well as a .NET Developer. Steven holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen and a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Communication Technology from the same institution.
