Benjamin Farias

Benjamin Farias has had a varied career in the legal field. Benjamin began their career in 2007 as a Squad Leader for B Company 3-13 INF RGT in the United States Army Reserve, where they administered training, guidance, and conduct of over 200 soldiers. In 2012, they worked as a Law Clerk at Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer, LLC. From there, they moved to Congressman Cedric Richmond, where they drafted legislative materials and amendments used by the congressman for introduction on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2013, they became an Associate Attorney at Kemp Smith LLP. In 2015, they worked as a Partner at Lion's Share Hospitality Company and as General Counsel and Advisor at Atlas Learning Inc. In 2019, they became Counsel/Operations Director, US and Latin Americas at Softomotive, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2020. Benjamin then joined Microsoft as Counsel. In 2021, they became General Counsel at MindBridge and Senior Counsel, Global Financial Services Business Unit at Capgemini.

Benjamin Farias received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida in 2009. Benjamin then attended Syracuse University College of Law from 2010 to 2011 as a Doctor of Law (J.D.) Candidate. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Tulane University Law School in 2013.
