Alexander Thiel

Alexander Thiel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alexander served as the CTO of Atlas Metrics from 2023, where they helped companies become sustainable by collecting and managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data. Prior to that, from 2020, they worked as a Member of the Investment Committee at Curious Capital, where they assessed startups for investment decisions. From 2020 to 2023, they served as the Chairman of Imagine Zero, an organization incubating user-centric NGOs focused on climate action. In 2022, they worked as an Advisor at Protocol Labs. Previously, they held the role of CTO at Wunder Mobility from 2018 to 2020, overseeing rapid growth, recruitment, and tech M&A. Before that, from 2015 to 2018, they worked as the CTO at StyleLounge, and also founded Aura - Freedom of Speech in 2018. Alexander has also served as the Managing Director / CTO at einrichtung.de in 2015 and Co-Founder / CTO at Geniuz in 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Backend Architect at DREAMLINES from 2012 to 2014 as a freelance consultant. Throughout their career, Thiel has demonstrated expertise in technology, sustainability, investments, and entrepreneurship.

Alexander Thiel attended St. Raphael Gymnasium Heidelberg from 1998 to 2006, where they earned their Abitur with a focus on language. Later on, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich from 2007 to 2011.
