Ariel Azoff has had a long and varied career in the fields of brand partnerships, social impact, and nonprofit partnerships. In 2017, they began their career as Executive Director of Brand Partnerships and Head of Brand Partnerships at Atlas Obscura, as well as Director of Destination Marketing and Tourism Partnerships. That same year, they also began working as Director of US Partnerships at GiveDirectly, and as an Impact Strategy Consultant. In 2016, they were Head of Social Impact at Medium.com, and in 2013 they became Head of Nonprofit Partnerships and Branded Content Strategist at Upworthy. In 2011, they co-founded Modavanti.com, where they served as operations manager and editor-in-chief of the company blog. In 2010, they co-founded Midthoughtblog.com and worked as International Advocacy & Media at The Mossawa Center. In 2009, they worked as a Paralegal Specialist at the U.S. Department of Justice, and in 2006 they worked as Director of More Uncommon Grounds at Students of Georgetown, Inc.
Ariel Azoff completed a BA in Arabic and Government from Georgetown University. They then studied Arabic and Government at The American University in Cairo. Prior to this, they graduated from Kingston High School. In May 2017, Ariel obtained a NYC Sightseeing Guide certification from the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs.
