Alvaro Contreras Villalba

Alvaro Contreras Villalba has worked in various roles since 2010. Alvaro started as a Coordinador Ambiental in Disico Ingenieria S.A. and later worked as an Ingeniero Ambiental - Inspector HSEQ in Servicios Suministros y Transporte Ltda. In 2012, they worked as a Coordinador Ambiental in Soluciones Ambientales Estrategicas Ltda. and as a Profesional de Proyectos in VARICHEM DE COLOMBIA in 2013. From 2014 to 2017, Alvaro worked as the Líder Ambiental in SGS Colombia, then moved on to become the Project Developer Manager in PRODIEL from 2017 to 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Project Leader Development in DVP Solar and as a BD Manager in Trina Solar from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Alvaro Contreras Villalba is the Project Development Manager in Atlas Renewable Energy, starting from 2023.

Alvaro Contreras Villalba has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidad El Bosque, which they earned from 2005 to 2010. Alvaro later pursued a specialized degree in Environmental Impact Assessment of Projects from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, which lasted from 2012 to 2013. Alvaro is currently enrolled at Universidad EAN pursuing an Especialista degree in Gerencia de Proyectos, which started in 2021, and a Master's degree in Gerencia de Proyectos, which will be completed in 2023.
