Luiz Ballester

Luiz Ballester's work experience includes various roles in the renewable energy and cement industries. Luiz started their career as an intern at Brazilian Wind Energy Center from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, they worked as an intern at ENGES. Luiz then joined Votorantim as a trainee from 2009 to 2010. Ballester worked at Lafarge Cement as a Maintenance Planning Coordinator from 2010 to 2011, and later as an Improvement Engineer from 2011 to 2012. Luiz then moved to Renova Energia SA, where they worked as a Strategic Planning Specialist from 2012 to 2014, and later as the Commercialization & Business Development Manager from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Ballester is employed at Atlas Renewable Energy, where they started as the Commercial Director in 2016 and is currently serving as the Senior VP Commercial & New Business.

Luiz Ballester obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 2013-2014. In the same period, they also completed another Master's degree in Economics from Université Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris I). Prior to that, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Bac+5 degree in Mechanical Engineering at Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC). Luiz'seducational journey started at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, where they completed 10 periods studying Mechanical Engineering from 2003 to 2008.
