Eric's work experience begins in 2000 at Colonial Wine and Spirits where they worked as a Store Manager, gaining experience in sales, customer service, and inventory management. In 2006, they started their own wine tasting business, Uncorked Wine Dinners, where they managed events, invoicing, and transportation logistics. From 2007 to 2013, Eric worked as an On-Premise Account Manager at Young's Market Company, achieving double-digit growth each year and exceeding performance goals. In 2013, they founded Lucky Spirits Company, focusing on target acquisition, sales, and market communication for a small portfolio of brands. Eric then worked as a Client Executive at Red8 from 2015 to 2016, applying a human approach to technical challenges. In 2016, Eric became the Vice President of Business Development at [RE]DESIGN Group, leveraging design thinking to solve complex business problems. In 2016, Eric founded Unbound Marketing Group to provide business development consulting and increase productivity through automation. Lastly, in 2017, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Atlas7, leading efforts to modernize infrastructure, enhance cybersecurity, and embrace emerging technologies.

Eric attended Bishop Hendricken High School from 1999 to 2003. Eric then enrolled at the University of Rhode Island - College of Business from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on International Business. In 2007, Eric pursued additional education at Johnson & Wales University and earned a W.S.E.T. Sommelier Degree in Wine and Spirits.
