Liam Waddell

Liam Waddell has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Liam currently works as a Senior Android Engineer at Atlas since December 2022. Prior to that, they were self-employed at MEME Soundboard Ultimate from January 2016 onwards. Liam also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Accedo.tv from November 2019 to November 2022 and as a Senior Android Developer at xDesign from February 2019 to August 2019.

Liam gained valuable experience as an Android Developer at ScottishPower from February 2017 to February 2019, where they were responsible for designing and building advanced features for the Android platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working with external data sources and APIs.

Earlier in their career, Liam worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in various roles. Liam served as a TAFMIS: Applications Developer/Support from May 2016 to February 2017, playing a key role in transferring knowledge from one site to another. Liam also worked as a Deployed Build Engineer from October 2015 to May 2016 and as a VPS Deployed Integration Engineer from November 2014 to October 2015, where their responsibilities included integrating patches and hotfixes for live MoD nodes and ensuring accurate documentation.

Prior to that, Liam briefly worked as an Operations Engineer at Proact IT UK from August 2014 to October 2014, further enhancing their technical skills and experience.

Liam Waddell attended Glasgow Caledonian University from 2013 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Cyber Security and Networks. In February 2016, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from ITIL Certified. Additionally, Liam completed CCNA Modules 1 and 2, though the specific institution and the exact dates of completion are unknown.
