Paula Barcante

Paula Barcante is an experienced design leader with a strong background in product and user experience design, currently serving as Lead Product Designer for AI at Atlassian since March 2025, focusing on Rovo Desktop and Mobile. Prior to this role, Paula held positions at Dropbox and Twitter, specializing in product design and AI conversation moderation. Experience at Zillow included senior roles in mobile experience and AI personalization, and earlier work at Amazon encompassed UX design for Kindle Direct Publishing and internships in user experience design. Paula's foundational experience began with a focus on innovative solutions through research and design during tenure at REAPWaterloo and earlier internships. Paula holds a Bachelor of Global Business and Digital Arts from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
