Tinus Willemse

Tinus Willemse is an accomplished data scientist and engineer with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist and Tech Lead for Growth at Atlassian since November 2022, Tinus has previously held significant positions at Quantium and Liberty Group South Africa, where a strong emphasis was placed on data science and software engineering. Tinus's technical prowess began with roles in electronic engineering, including notable positions at Denel Dynamics and Mernok Elektronik, where responsibilities encompassed product development, project management, and embedded systems design. Tinus holds a B.Eng (Hons) and a B.Eng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
