David Shamir

David Shamir has over two decades of work experience in product management and engineering. David began their career as a Hardware Engineer at Terayon in 1999. David then joined Harmonic in 2005, where they held the roles of Senior Product Manager for Video Encoders and Senior Product Manager for the video compression product line. At Harmonic, they were responsible for developing and executing market strategies, managing the products' life-cycle, and providing support to the sales team.

In 2010, David moved to Magnum Semiconductor as a Director of Product Management. Here, they managed the current and next-generation high-quality video encoder-transcoder product lines. David developed product strategies, defined target markets, and created roadmaps and go-to-market plans. David also collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and made necessary trade-offs based on ROI and product strategy.

Since 2015, David has been working at Atlona, initially as the Director of Product Management and now as the Vice President of Product Management & Engineering. During their tenure, they have built and managed teams to introduce over 40 new products, maximizing the company's investment in R&D and developing revenue-oriented roadmaps. David has also played a significant role in increasing the company's market share in highly competitive markets.

David Shamir attended Tel Aviv University from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering.
