Daniel Garfield

Daniel Garfield has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Daniel currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineering at Atom Computing, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the DevOps Manager at Invitae from January 2021 to April 2022, leading a team of 5 engineers and providing operational support, deployment automation, monitoring, and technical advising services to the Oncology Software organization. Before joining Invitae, Daniel worked at ArcherDX, Inc. as the DevOps Group Lead from September 2020 to December 2020.

From 2016 to 2020, Daniel worked at Project X, first as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2016 to July 2020, and then as the DevOps Lead from January 2018 to July 2020. Their responsibilities included software engineering and leading the DevOps team.

Prior to Project X, Daniel worked as a Software Engineer at Funnel from September 2013 to October 2016 and at Nexops from July 2012 to August 2013. Daniel also gained experience as a Software Developer at StreetEasy from February 2012 to May 2012.

Daniel's early career includes internships as an Analyst Intern at Deutsche Bank in 2011 and 2010.

From 2007 to 2011, Daniel Garfield attended The City College of New York, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
