Luke Sowden

Luke Sowden has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Luke began their career as an Outreach Mentor for the University of Derby, where they promoted higher education through presentations, workshops, and interviews. Luke then worked as a Team Leader at JD Wetherspoon, showcasing their excellent customer service skills and leadership abilities. Luke also worked as a Senior Representative at Transun Travel Ltd, where they provided exceptional customer service and helped create memorable experiences for guests. Luke gained further experience in the hospitality industry as a Food and Beverage Team Leader at Malmaison.

Luke's sales and account management skills were honed during their time at Winterwood Tutors and Education Management Consultancy, where they managed client accounts and focused on revenue goals. Luke then moved on to GoStudent, where they held roles as a Sales Account Manager and later as a Sales Team Lead, overseeing a team of Sales Account Managers and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Luke also has experience in the education sector, having worked as an Assistant Centre Manager at Explore Learning. In this role, they contributed to the personal and academic development of members, conducted educational workshops, and maintained strong communication with parents.

Furthermore, Luke has demonstrated their ability to build relationships and promote brands through their role as a Student Brand Ambassador for Sipsmith Gin. Luke showcased the brand, developed relationships with stakeholders, and hosted events and samplings.

Currently, Luke is working as a Sales Manager at Atom Learning.

Luke Sowden attended the University of Derby from 2014 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Primary Education. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Birmingham from 2017 to 2019, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Education.
