Andrea Aldes

Andrea Aldes has over 20 years of experience in the Network Engineering and Network Security fields. Andrea began their career in 2000 as a Network Engineer at Lucent. In 2003, they worked as a Senior Network Security Consultant at IBM Global Services, ING, and ING. In 2008, they were a Network Consultant at USBank. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Senior Network Security Consultant at ING. From 2012 to 2014, they were an IT Manager at ING. Finally, from 2014 to 2016, they were a Network Solutions Engineer at Consolidated Communications, where they worked at a Cisco Gold Partner and was responsible for simultaneous projects at large and small companies doing network and network security deployments, conversions and troubleshooting.

Andrea Aldes holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, which they obtained in 2012. Andrea also holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Information Technology from the same university, which they obtained in 2000. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2004, Cisco Certified Network Professional - Routing & Switching (CCNP Enterprise) from Cisco in 2001, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) from Palo Alto Networks in 2023, Aruba Certified Design Associate (ACDA) from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company in 2021, Aruba Certified Edge Associate (ACEA) from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company in 2021, Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company in 2021, and Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA) from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company in 2021.
