VP of Production Manufacturing at Atomic Machines

Brandon Connors has a diverse work experience in various manufacturing and engineering roles. Brandon began their career at Coolsystems and Game Ready as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, where they managed service departments and implemented new manufacturing processes. Brandon then joined Apple as an Engineer, leading the manufacturing design for iPod and iPhone. At Nest Labs, they worked as a Manufacturing Process Engineer, responsible for developing and managing manufacturing processes for all product components. In June, they served as the Manufacturing Design Engineer for the June Intelligent Oven. Brandon then joined Waymo as the Head of Manufacturing Development and Supplier Quality Engineering, overseeing supplier quality and implementation of quality systems. Following that, they became the Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Matternet Inc, responsible for procurement and manufacturing of aircraft and related components. Brandon then moved to Embark Trucks as the VP of Engineering, where they led programs and manufacturing activities. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Production Manufacturing at Atomic Machines, contributing to the development of a robotic manufacturing platform for micro-electromechanical devices.

Brandon Connors completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2006. Brandon then continued their studies at the same university and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Bioengineering, which is expected to be completed in 2022.
