Virginia Donovan

Virginia Donovan, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Project and Portfolio Management at Atomwise since August 2023. Previously, Virginia held various positions at 23andMe, including Principal Project Manager and Senior Portfolio & Project Manager in Therapeutics, where responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams and managing IND preparation. Prior experience includes roles at AbbVie and Abcam focused on project management and product delivery in oncology and custom services, respectively. Virginia's earlier career includes postdoctoral research at Loma Linda University on vascular pathology and graduate studies at the University of California, Riverside, culminating in a PhD in Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology.
