Dustin Smart

Dustin Smart has over 10 years of professional work experience, beginning in 2009 as a Multi-Channel Sales Support Manager at Best Buy. In this role, they managed a team of 43 direct report employees and was responsible for project planning and execution of 12-14 week remodel project plans with strict labor and material budgets. Dustin also served as a district trainer for 16 stores for general ledger analysis and process improvement.

In 2014, Smart began working at AtreNet as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, they guided B2B and B2C website relaunches, ongoing web development and maintenance projects for more than 18 simultaneous clients, working with industries that range from endpoint security to big data analytics, sizes from startups to corporations, and project scopes varying budgets and levels of complexity. Dustin also led client-facing stakeholder meetings to provide continuous clarity on project progress and budget.

In 2020, Smart joined Takeoff - Web Design & Development Agency as a Senior Web Strategist.

Dustin Smart obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business from Western Governors University between 2016 and 2018. Dustin also obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from UC Santa Barbara between 1999 and 2003. In addition, they obtained a CompTIA Project+ certification from CompTIA in March 2019.
