Marika Viitala

Marika Viitala has a diverse work experience starting in 2002 as a Documentation Assistant at Schering. Marika then worked as an R&D Assistant at Finnamyl Oy in 2004 and as a Research Fellow at Turku University from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they served as a Project Manager and Teacher at Seinajoki University of Applied Sciences, where they managed the RAVIS project and also taught nutritional and food science. In 2011, Marika joined Atria Plc and held various roles including Atria Trainee, Team Leader in Product Development, Product Development Manager, and currently serves as the Product Group Manager for Convenience Foods.

Marika Viitala completed their Master of Sciences degree in Biomedicine from the University of Turku from 2000 to 2005. In 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Pedagogical Qualification in Education from Jyväskylä Teacher Training School.
