Roy Silon

Roy Silon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2002, they served as an Instructor of Telecommunication Technologies at NetBryce, where they taught courses on networking and CISCO network administration. From 2004 to 2008, Silon worked as a Software Engineer at SMBS and later as a Senior Software Engineer at Seabridge, specializing in MPLS and MPLS-TP protocol stack development and integration. Roy also led a team in the development of Chassis Management for NSN's Ethernet Carrier Operating System.

In 2008, Silon joined Nokia Siemens Networks as a System Engineer, responsible for defining software requirements for the Network Management System ASPEN and working closely with product management and customers. Roy continued their career at TangoTec Ltd. in 2011 as a Senior System Engineer, involved in the definition of functional specifications for the G. hn System on Chip.

In 2014, Silon founded Gen-X, a software boutique with numerous successful customers, where they acted as Co-Founder and Project Manager. Roy also led the development and customer-facing tasks.

In 2015, Silon joined Atrinet as the VP Technologies, leading the NetACE group and implementing network transition and multi-vendor SDN enablement strategies. Roy worked closely with CSP's operations and engineering teams, delivering complex projects.

Currently, since 2021, Silon holds the role of VP R&D and Associate Founder at MagnaD Integrations. Roy has led the engineering efforts of the founding team, focusing on the development of capital markets smart contract systems over distributed multi-ledger technologies. Silon has brought two main projects to production and developed their own digital bonds issuance system over a distributed blockchain network.

Roy Silon obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Tel Aviv University between 2001 and 2005. Roy later pursued further education at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2008 to 2009.
