Gary Little

Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer at Atrium Health

Gary Little, MD, MBA has a diverse range of experience in healthcare management. Gary began their career as an Associate Chair in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Prince George's Hospital Center in 2002. Gary then moved on to become the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine from 2005 to 2009. Following that, Dr. Little joined George Washington University Hospital as the Medical Director from 2009 to 2016. Gary currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Atrium Health since June 2018, after serving as the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer from 2016 to 2018.

Gary Little, MD, MBA obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Occidental College in 1993. Gary then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Harvard Medical School from 1993 to 1998. In 2012, they completed their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The George Washington University School of Business.
