Sondra Thomas

Sondra Thomas has extensive work experience in human resources and management. Sondra is currently serving as the Area Director of Human Resources for Atrium Hospitality, overseeing multiple hotels and an expo center. Prior to this role, they worked as a Recruiting Manager for the United States Census Bureau, where they recruited and trained personnel for the 2020 Census in Missouri. Sondra also has experience as a Central Regional Human Resource Manager Partner for MasterCorp, where they provided HR partnership to various sites across 14 states. Additionally, they served as the Human Resources Director for Reliable Superstore Toyota/BMW/Lexus, where they handled recruitment, selection, orientation, and staff development. Earlier in their career, Sondra worked as an Initial Assistance Representative for the Internal Revenue Service and as a Human Resources Director in the US Army, where they managed HR functions for thousands of employees at multiple locations. Overall, they bring a wealth of experience in HR management and operations.

Sondra Thomas completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Cameron University from 1998 to 2008. Sondra then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland between 2010 and 2012.
