Matthew Wong

Matthew Wong, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience in the field of nuclear engineering. Matthew started their career at AECL as a Field Mechanical Professional and later worked as a Construction Coordination Professional. Matthew then moved on to the role of Retube Mechanical System Designer, and eventually became a Retube Mechanical System Designer Series Lead. Matthew then joined Candu Energy Inc. as a Retube Mechanical System Designer Series Lead. After that, they worked at AMEC NSS as an Associate Engineer - Client Interface. Matthew then joined SNC-Lavalin and held various roles including Project Engineer, Tooling Area Manager, and Tooling Operations Manager. Matthew later joined Hatch as a Project Manager - Nuclear. Currently, Matthew is working at ATS Corporation as the Vice President of Commercial Nuclear, after previously holding roles as the Director of Nuclear Applications and Business Development, Director of Project Management - Nuclear, Director of MCR Programs, and Engineering Manager - Nuclear.

Matthew Wong, P.Eng. holds a Bachelor of Engineering Management degree in Mechanical Engineering & Management from McMaster University. Matthew obtained their Professional Engineer certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in 2011.
