Dereck DeBruler has a diverse work experience. Dereck began their career in 2003 as an Infantryman/Bradley Gunner with the Army National Guard. In 2012 they were promoted to Operations Sergeant and served in this role for four years. During this time they were responsible for hardware and software setup, repair, and maintenance of communication radios, computers, voip phones, routers, switches and cable management. Dereck also completed two deployments to Iraq. In 2013, they joined Comcast as a Customer IP Support. Dereck then moved to Microsoft in 2014 as a Customer Support Representative. In 2015, they joined PacketDrivers IT Outsourcing as a Helpdesk Engineer and then Aldridge in 2016 as a Help Desk Engineer. In 2020, they joined Attentus Technologies as a Network Administrator Manager.
Dereck DeBruler obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology from Central Washington University between 2005 and 2010. Dereck then obtained a CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in July 2020, a CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA in July 2016, and a Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft in November 2022.
