Lelosa Aimufua

Team Lead at Atticus

Lelosa Aimufua has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017 with roles at The Sesame Street Project as a Co-Researcher focused on creating interventions for children affected by the school-to-prison pipeline. They also worked at Swarthmore College as a Diversity Peer Associate and as a Title IX Office Student Liaison & Advisor. In 2019, Aimufua worked as a Student Intern at the United States Tax Court, assisting with court outreach efforts. They then served as a Senior/Undergraduate Admissions Fellow at Swarthmore College. In 2020, Aimufua took on various roles at Seattle Academy, including Middle School Coordinator, 6th Grade Advisor, and Head Volleyball Coach. They also had a Summer Research Internship at Three Mountain Group, where they researched support for survivors of sex trafficking. In 2020, Aimufua became a Fulbright Scholar but the program was canceled in 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are currently working as a Client Experience Specialist at Atticus and will transition to the role of Team Lead in April 2023.

Lelosa Aimufua's education history begins in 2012 when they attended Marymount High School and completed their high school education in 2016. In 2016, Lelosa enrolled at Swarthmore College and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in a special major in Political Science and Educational Studies. They completed their undergraduate degree in 2020. In 2019, Lelosa also briefly studied International Law and Legal Studies at Queen Mary University of London.

Additionally, Lelosa obtained certifications outside of their formal education. In December 2020, they completed "The Fundamentals of TESOL" certification from TESOL International Association. In June 2021, Lelosa obtained the "Intro to Restorative Justice" certification from Amplify RJ.
