Matt Davies

Matt Davies is the Head of Application Industry & Product Manager at Attolight. Matt has over 9 years of experience in semiconductor research and development, with a focus on analytics and metrology techniques. Matt has also worked as a Research Scientist, supporting semiconductor predevelopment projects.

Matt Davies obtained their PhD in Physics from the University of Manchester in 2010. Matt's research focused on novel polar (0001) InGaN/GaN quantum well structures and LEDs for high efficiency light emission. Matt has also been involved in computing simulation projects of carrier transfer processes in LEDs, and collaborative studies of extended defects in LEDs.

Matt Davies completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Photon Physics at The University of Manchester, followed by an MPhys in Physics with Technological Physics also from The University of Manchester.
