Matt Burgess

Matt Burgess has a diverse work experience starting with their current role as a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer at Attune since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Hillman Group/minuteKEY as a DevOps Engineer from March 2019 to May 2022.

Before that, Matt worked at DigitalGlobe as a Site Reliability Engineer from May 2017 to March 2019, where they were responsible for solving difficult systemic problems. Matt also worked as a Product Owner from July 2015 to May 2017, where they transformed team workflows and improved customer relationships. Matt's earlier roles at DigitalGlobe include working as an HPC Engineer from July 2012 to July 2015.

Prior to joining DigitalGlobe, Matt worked at NexGen Data Systems as a Senior Systems Engineer from May 2010 to July 2012. In this role, they played a crucial role in the design and implementation of Linux systems for US Navy Projects.

Matt commenced their career at IBM, where they held various roles. Matt was a Linux Cluster Test Engineer from February 2005 to May 2010, leading test cycles and ensuring successful completion. Matt also worked as a Linux Cluster Enablement Team Engineer from September 2006 to August 2008, where they designed and deployed cluster solutions, including a substantial installation of a 2000+ node cluster.

Before their career in the technology industry, Matt worked as a Courier/Process Server at Legal Wheels from June 2004 to February 2005.

Matt Burgess attended Purdue University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
