Joe Finn

Joe Finn has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and positions. Joe started their career in 2011 as a Senior System Engineer at Auckland UniServices Limited, where they worked until 2016. During this time, they achieved positive customer feedback for the Support Team.

In 2022, Joe joined First AML as an Information Technology Manager, where they led the development of the IT strategy and managed various aspects of IT operations and support. Joe left this role in 2023.

Currently, Joe is working at Auckland Council, where they have held two positions. Joe started as the Recovery Intelligence and Systems Lead in April 2023, responsible for collecting and analyzing data to support the recovery efforts. Joe then transitioned to the role of Group Project Strategy & Integration Lead in September 2023, where they oversee project delivery, risk management, and integration of recovery office processes.

Joe Finn completed an Undergrad Diploma in Systems Engineering at Unitec | Te Pūkenga from 2006 to 2007. Joe also has additional certifications, including Cyber Security Foundation+Practitioner from ALC Training (obtained in 2021), PRINCE2® Foundation Certification from PeopleCert (obtained in 2017), Introduction to SQL Databases from ACE Training Ltd (obtained in 2015), and various project management certifications from The University of Auckland (obtained in 2014).
