George Papanikolaou

George Papanikolaou is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and management across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal and SEE Region Advisor at SGI Partners since December 2020, Papanikolaou is also the Country Director for Greece at WeInvest since July 2022. In addition, Papanikolaou has been the Managing Director at Wine Art SA and The Greek Wineshop Ltd since December 2004 and August 2019, respectively, specializing in fine wine distribution. Papanikolaou holds multiple investor roles in various companies, including Solstar Space Co., Chow420, Blawesome, VBit Technologies, and RedSwan CRE. Furthermore, Papanikolaou is recognized as an Expert at Blockchain Founders Fund, contributing to blockchain and emerging technology projects. Educational qualifications include an Athens MBA from the National Technical University of Athens and degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics from Tufts University, complemented by a summer business program at Lehigh University.
