Ella Mae Wester

Ella Mae Wester has extensive experience in journalism and communication, currently serving as a Redacteur en coördinator at Uitgeverij Audax for the magazine Vriendin since March 2013. This publication is one of the largest women’s weeklies in the Netherlands, where Ella Mae travels across the country to engage with notable figures and ordinary women with compelling stories. Prior to this role, Ella Mae worked as a freelance journalist, editor, and communication advisor at More than Words, collaborating with various magazines and organizations including Libelle and ING. Ella Mae's earlier career includes a position as Communication Manager at ING and a role as Redacteur / Projectmanager at Informaat. Ella Mae holds a degree from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by earlier education at Bonhoeffer College.
