François Cauwe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. François started their career in 2004 as a Chief-Editor for InGenia StudentenKring. In the same year, they also worked as a Youth instructor at VDS and as a System administrator at CFK.
From 2008 to present, François has been with Audi Brussels, where they have held various positions. François started as a Project Engineer, responsible for optimizing production equipment and developing new equipment. In this role, they successfully installed two new carwashes and water test lines.
Later, François took on the role of Coordinator for the launch of new models in the assembly line and then became the Coordinator for Vehicle Electricals & Electronics. In 2015, they became the Coordinator for Vehicle Electrics, Electronics & High-Voltage Battery. Currently, they hold the position Head of IT Services at Audi Brussels, starting from June 2021.
Before joining Audi, François worked as a Chief Youth Animator at Speelplein Pagadders from 2000 to 2008, and as a Youth Animator at the same organization from 2000 to 2004.
Overall, François Cauwe has demonstrated versatility and a strong track record in various roles and industries, particularly in project management, coordination, and technical expertise.
François Cauwe completed their Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent in 2006. François then pursued their Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in mechatronics and precision mechanics from KU Leuven from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they attended Aalen University in 2006 for a short course in Feinwerktechnik and Mechatronics, earning a MSc.
