Kat Thompson

Katreequia (Kat) Thompson is Human Resources director at Audi of America, Inc., beginning in February 2020. Kat drives the culture and strategic talent management for the luxury brands of Volkswagen Group of America – Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, and Lamborghini. In this role, Kat also serves as the senior HR business partner to Brand executives and oversees talent management and employee engagement, leading a team that provides HR business partnership, organizational development and learning support to all luxury brand employees.

Kat has more than 16 years of experience in human resources, training, talent development, and employee relations. Before joining Audi of America, she was the Global Supply Chain Human Resources Director at Walgreens, and prior to that, Senior Manager of Operational Training and Talent Development/Director for Employee Relations at Allegis Group/TEKsystems and Human Resources District Business Partner at Target Corporation.

Kat is from Bastrop, Louisiana and holds dual Bachelor degrees in Speech Communications and Business Administration from Dillard University and Coppin State University. Kat and her twin children reside in Arundel County Maryland.
