Sean Alling

Sean Alling is an experienced professional with a background in product management and engineering. Currently serving as Senior Product Manager at Audible since January 2017, Sean is responsible for defining and executing strategies to enhance product engagement and customer value. Prior experience includes a role as Nuclear Engineer in the US Navy, where Sean designed tooling for nuclear reactors and managed manufacturing processes. As Lead Engineer and Co-Founder of the IEC Fusion Reactor Project at Virginia Commonwealth University, Sean led mechanical and electrical design efforts and secured funding. Additional experience encompasses software engineering roles at Argonne National Laboratory and Virginia Commonwealth University, focusing on nuclear reactor analysis and modeling. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University.
