Vijay Garla is an accomplished leader in applied science and data science with extensive experience in delivering innovative solutions across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Applied Science at Audible since January 2016, Vijay has spearheaded advancements in customer targeting, personalized recommendations, layout optimization, and search relevance using advanced machine learning techniques. Prior to Audible, Vijay held roles including Lead Consulting Engineer at Attivio, Chief Data Scientist at SAMI Health, and Software Consultant, showcasing a strong background in designing and deploying complex analytic systems.
