Luke Cooper has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and programming. Luke is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Audience Republic since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Queensland Department of Education as an Analyst Programmer from 2018 to 2022, where they were responsible for implementing web applications and building Angular single page applications using Typescript.

From 2014 to 2018, Luke worked at Bondi Labs - Enhancing Human Decision Making as a Software Engineer, leading a team in developing the Kuube 3D Simulation Training platform and implementing a 3D Virtual Refractor for the Brien Holden Vision Institute.

Before that, from 2011 to 2014, they served as a Senior Programmer at Flight Centre Travel Group, enhancing and supporting corporate travel booking applications. Luke also worked as a Programmer at Topcon Positioning Systems for a short period in 2011.

Luke's career began at THQ Studio Oz in 2005 as a Senior Programmer, where they contributed to the development of console games and designed game systems for various platforms. Prior to that, they worked at Oracle as an Applications Engineer, focusing on repairing and enhancing sales and data entry applications.

In 2001, Luke worked at Electronic Arts as a Programmer, implementing art and animation tools and developing an MP3 decoder for PC and Sony PlayStation 2. Overall, Luke Cooper has a diverse background in software engineering, with expertise in web development, game development, and application enhancement and support.

Luke Cooper has a strong educational background, primarily focused on software engineering and ecology. Luke attended Queensland University of Technology from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a specialization in Software Engineering. Later on, in 2002, they pursued further education at the same university, earning a Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) degree in Software Engineering. Luke's education journey continued from 2012 to 2015, also at Queensland University of Technology, where they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with a major in Ecology.
