Audio industry veteran technologist and journalist Frank Wells is a Past President of the Audio Engineering Society and currently serves the Society as Director of Communications. After 20 years in the trenches as a USAF radio tech, a broadcast engineer and running tech services in a multi-room recording complex on Nashville's Music Row, Wells began a trade journalism career which included 15 years as Editor of Pro Sound News. Alongside his AES responsibilities, he continues to work within the professional audio industry in content creation, public relations and marketing, and as a founding board member of the industry self-help non-profit corporation, the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund.
