Mark Donovan, CTS-D, CTS-I has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Mark started their career in the United States Navy as a Fire Control Technician from September 1984 to October 1993. Mark then worked as an Electronics Service Manager at Alpha Music from October 1993 to August 1994.

Following that, they joined B & B Sound Designs in 1995 as a Systems Engineer, where their responsibilities included professional AV systems design and installation, sales, design, estimating, bidding, project management, installation, and post sales/installation service and support. Mark worked at B & B Sound Designs until 2010.

In 2010, they joined Audio-Technica as a Sales Engineer - Installed Sound. In this role, they served as the primary technical resource for the field sales force, actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. As a product advocate for Audio-Technica, they identified and provided reliable solutions for all technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Mark held this position until July 2015.

From July 2015 to the present, Mark has been working at Audio-Technica as the Applications Engineering Manager, Professional Markets. In this role, they manage a team of Applications Engineers who serve as the primary technical resource for the field sales force. They actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and provide product advocacy for Audio-Technica. The Applications Engineering Team under Mark's leadership identifies and provides reliable solutions for all technical issues, ensuring complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Mark Donovan, CTS-D, CTS-I has a diverse education history. In 1985, they attended the United States Naval Guided Missiles School in Dam Neck, VA, where they studied Fire Control and earned a degree in AN/SPG-55B MOD 8 Terrier Missile Guidance RADAR Set. That same year, they also completed a program at the United States Navy Service School Command in Great Lakes, IL, focusing on Intermediate Electronics Theory, Practical Operation, and Troubleshooting Techniques as part of their Fire Control Technician training.

In 1984, Mark attended the United States Navy Service School Command in Orlando, FL, where they studied Basic Electricity and Electronics. Mark gained a comprehensive understanding of Basic Electronic Theory, Practical Operation, and Troubleshooting Techniques during this program. Prior to their military training, Mark obtained a High School Diploma from Caesar Rodney Senior High School in 1980, where their field of study was General Studies.

Alongside their formal education, Mark has also pursued additional certifications. Mark became a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) in July 2010, obtaining accreditation from the InfoComm International institution. Mark later enhanced their expertise by earning certification as a Certified Technology Specialist in Design (CTS-D) in September 2010 and as a Certified Technology Specialist in Installation (CTS-I) in October 2010. In January 2019, Mark acquired Certified Level 1 & Level 2 Dante Trainer certification from Audinate, further expanding their knowledge in the field. Mark also holds Dante Certification Level 1 and Dante Certification Level 2, both attained in January 2019 from the same institution.
